Norman Philip Wadell; Emmy-Winning TV Art Director

Norman Philip Wadell, 45, Emmy Award-winning television art director. For the past 13 years, Wadell worked for CBS in Los Angeles and most recently served as art director of the CBS soap opera “The Young and the Restless.” A native of Newark, N.J., he graduated from Kean College in New Jersey and earned a master of fine arts degree from New York University. He worked on the series “Benson” and “General Hospital” and was once art director for CBS coverage of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade. On Dec. 28 in Los Angeles of brain cancer.
