Scoggin, a guard from Santa Margarita High, turned in his best week of the season for the Gauchos. It started with his 12-point, five-rebound performance in a 72-54 victory over Rancho Santiago Jan. 29. He also had a game-high six assists. He then scored a season-high 30 points and had eight rebounds and four assists as Saddleback beat Riverside, 98-86, Friday.

* Golden West, freshman. He was five for five and scored five runs as Golden West beat Antelope Valley, 21-8. Roberts was eight for 11 in three games.
