The NHL will notify the Ducks today whether defenseman J.J. Daigneault will be able to play tonight against Edmonton in the wake of an incident in which referee Don Koharski thought Daigneault had swung his stick at him Sunday during a game against Vancouver. Daigneault says he thought Koharski was a Canuck trying to pick him. Team officials said video was inconclusive.
