New Police Building Now Serving Public

The new $107-million police administration and jail facility unveiled earlier this year is now open to the public for services ranging from crime reports to ticket information.
Front counter hours for the 60 Civic Center Plaza building are 7 a.m. to 7 .m., Monday through Friday. Saturday and Sunday hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sgt. Bob Clark said.
A new number to call for making crime reports or to receive information is (714) 245-8665. The line is open from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m., Clark said.
Another number, (714) 834-4211, is in operation 24 hours a day.
Paid parking is available in a structure to the east of the station.
