SEASON AT A GLANCE: Gray has been as close to unhittable as any pitcher in the region this season. The right-hander with a submarine delivery is 8-0 with an 0.72 earned-run average. He has allowed only 42 hits in 58 innings, including a 75-pitch, 10-inning victory over Crespi. He is also a threat at the plate, batting .344.
WEEK AT A GLANCE: Gray, bound for Loyola Marymount, allowed two hits in five innings to pick up a victory over Harvard-Westlake on April 29. Friday, he was three for four--including two doubles and a two-out, game-winning single in the eighth--to help Chaminade complete a sweep over the Wolverines. He pitched the seventh and eighth to earn his second victory of the week.
