UCI’s Green to Run at NCAA Track Finals

Skye Green of UC Irvine will compete in the 400-meter hurdles Wednesday at the NCAA Division I track and field championships at Indiana.
Green, one of 24 runners in four preliminary heats, has the 18th-fastest time (58 seconds) in the nation this season. She set the school record in the 400 hurdles four times this season and was the Big West Conference champion.
Winners of the four heats, plus runners with the five best times from the rest of the field, advance to Friday’s final.
Green, a senior, finished seventh in her heat last season.
