Los Feliz Village, “the hippest ‘hood in L.A.” according to the national magazine “W” is having a street party Sunday, and the whole city is invited.
Hillhurst Avenue between Franklin and Finley avenues will be shut down from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m,. for the 6th Annual Los Feliz Village Street Fair.
Dora Herrera, who owns Yuca’s Hut, the popular stand that specializes in food from Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula, said that this year’s street fair will be the biggest yet for the neighborhood nestled beneath Griffith Park.
“It will be worth the time,” said Herrera, whose restaurant will provide food, along with many other neighborhood eateries, including Farfalla, La Belle Epoque, Ye Rustic Inn, the Dresden Room and La Conversation Bakery.
Several bands featuring Latin, blues, rock, and pop music, as well as the Marshall High Jazz Ensemble, will perform.
