High School Principal Signs Contract to Stay Through 2000

After much debate, Kelly Johnson has decided to remain at Palos Verdes Peninsula High School in Rolling Hills Estates as the principal instead of transferring to Redondo Union High School, where he was planning to take over the top job.
Johnson, who said he had had some philosophical differences with Palos Verdes Peninsula Supt. Ann Chlebicki when he announced his resignation in February, has now signed a contract that extends his job through 2000.
