Fine Writing Captures Last Day

* Re “2nds Crawl By,” June 18:
It is a rare thing nowadays to see a brilliant bit of prose turn up in a newspaper article, something good enough to be read slowly and aloud.
J.R. Moehringer’s article celebrating the last day of school for Miss Gizzi’s second-graders is that good, and Miss Gizzi and her class are awfully lucky to have had this last day celebrated by so fine a writer.
