City Commissions, Boards Have Openings

Residents interested in participating in the decision-making process of local government are encouraged by officials to apply to serve on city boards and commissions.
Vacancies exist on the Planning Commission, Community Services Board and Senior Citizens Commission. There are also openings on the Budget Advisory Commission and Library and Utilities boards. Terms are for four years.
The boards and commissions advise the City Council on a variety of issues.
