El Toro (0-0) vs. San Clemente (0-0)
7 P.M. FRIDAY
SAN CLEMENTE HIGH
Both teams appear to be rebuilding, so this game should give coaches Mark McElroy and Mike Milner an idea of what they have to look forward to this season. El Toro lost six Division I players, including its offensive sparkplug Murle Sango, who averaged more than 10 yards every time he touched the ball. San Clemente lost seven offensive starters, including quarterback Chris Hayward and running back Ryan Davis, who ran for 1,000 yards the past two seasons. With two inexperienced offenses playing their season opener, the winner will probably be the team that makes fewer mistakes.
