Opponent--Detroit Safari
Site--The Pond
Time--6
Records--Splash 15-12; Safari 3-24
Splash update--This is the final game of the regular season for the Splash. The Continental Indoor Soccer League decided Friday to award all first-round games (including the mini-game after Game 2) to Sacramento because of scheduling conflicts at the Pond. Bernie Lilavois (42 goals, 15 assists) remains among the premier scorers in the league.
Safari update--The Splash won the only meeting this year, at Detroit, 7-5, in the fourth game of the season. The Safari, the lowest-scoring team in the CISL, has lost four in a row and doesn’t have any players among the top 20 scorers.
