Joseph Norden, 84; Film and Television Actor

Joseph Norden, 84, film and television actor for half a century. Born in New York City, Norden studied at Columbia University and came west under contract to Universal Studios in 1938. He appeared in such films as the original “Dillinger,” starring Edmund Lowe, in 1945. Norden also had small roles in television series including “Mr. Adams and Eve,” starring Howard Duff and Ida Lupino, in 1957-58, and “The Felony Squad,” starring Duff, from 1966 to 1969. Norden served as personal secretary to Duff and Lupino for several years. On Monday at the Motion Picture & Television Hospital in Woodland Hills.
