Foothill Games, Foothill HS, 9 a.m. Saturday: Next to the Southern Section finals, this meet produces some of the season’s fastest times. And with most of the county’s top teams in attendance, this year promises much the same. The top-ranked Irvine girls’ team will be led by Olympian Amanda Beard. The Vaqueros have a good chance to set a team point record in the 26th annual event.

* Mission Viejo Invitational, Mission Viejo HS, 9 a.m. Saturday: The top-ranked Mission Viejo boys’ team will be at full strength and will likely post some of the county’s fastest swims.
