Long Beach State Struggles to Beat CS Dominguez Hills

Long Beach State overcame a four-point halftime deficit Tuesday night to defeat Division II Cal State Dominguez Hills, 59-56, before 1,760 at the Pyramid.
Guard Ramel “Rock” Lloyd scored 15 points to lead Long Beach, which made only 30.8% of its shots in the first half while falling behind, 31-27.
Long Beach (3-3) improved to 41.4% shooting in the second half.
Jair Fray led Dominguez Hills (1-2) with 17 points.
