As a tie-in to its ongoing exhibit of Faberge objects, the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library will present a lecture Tuesday by noted author and Russian scholar Suzanne Massie.
Massie will speak at 11 a.m. about Russian art and culture. Tickets are $15 and can be reserved by calling 522-2977.
Massie has 30 years of experience traveling, studying and working in the former Soviet Union and in today’s Russia. Best known for her books “Land of the Firebird: The Beauty of Old Russia” and “Pavlovsk: The Life of a Russian Palace,” she also served as co-author of “Journey” and was editor and researcher of “Nicholas and Alexandra,” both written by her former husband, Robert Massie.
The library’s exhibit, “Regal Splendor: Masterpieces from the House of Faberge,” remains on display through Jan. 10 and features 28 objets d’art from the Forbes Magazine Collection.
