* Sylvia Munoz Schnopp of Port Hueneme has been promoted to director of communications and public affairs for the Nevada and Ventura/Santa Barbara regions of AT&T; Wireless Services. She will be responsible for community affairs, public policy and employee communications in those areas.
Before this appointment, Schnopp was the marketing operations and external affairs manager in the South Coast District, which includes Ventura County.
* JoAnne Howell has joined Natren Inc. in Westlake Village as manager of the retail division. She will be responsible for marketing, promotion and sales of Natren’s products in health food stores throughout the United States and Canada.
* Marcos Chiappe has been promoted to director of international sales for Fresh Directions International in Ventura. He will oversee the company’s Mexican avocado export program and will work with customers in France, Spain, Scandinavia, England and Japan.
He will also handle the company’s mango shipments from Mexico, Puerto Rico, Ecuador and Peru to customers in North America.
* Daniel P. Mayer, a CPA from Camarillo, has relocated his accounting practice to Lindsay and Company in Ventura.
