Felons and Guns

* President Clinton informs us that in four days 400 “felons, fugitives, stalkers” and others were prohibited from buying a gun because of the FBI’s instant background check (Dec. 6). It’s small comfort to me to know that these criminal elements were denied such an illegal purchase. I worry more about the fact that these people are loose in our neighborhoods and by hook or crook will soon have a gun in their possession.
