Remembering the Garys

Interesting to read the article on the American Cinematheque and see no mention of Gary Essert and Gary Abrahams (“Ancient Egyptian Reincarnation,” by Robert W. Welkos, Dec. 3). “Formed in 1984 by the founders of its precursor organization, Filmex” hardly does justice to “the Garys,” as they were known, who, until they died, worked tirelessly to see this dream, their dream, come true.
