The city’s reelected mayor and two new City Council members have all pledged to make Anaheim a better place to live and work.
After taking the oath of office earlier this month, Mayor Tom Daly and council members Frank Feldhaus and Lucille Kring each outlined their goals for the next year.
Daly said his goals include keeping the city financially strong, continuing to reduce crime, beautifying Anaheim with more greenery and parks, and helping schools.
Feldhaus, who served on the council from 1992 to 1996, said he will work on quality-of-life issues, including neighborhood improvements.
Kring cited expanding the community policing program, reducing regulations and red tape to attract businesses, and working to resolve the labor dispute between the city and firefighters as some of her priorities.
