Action Sports Acquires San Diego Board Maker

Irvine-based snowboard maker Action Sports Ltd. said Wednesday it signed an agreement to acquire San Diego wakeboard manufacturer StingerBoards for an undisclosed amount of stock and cash.
The acquisition, along with Action’s recently announced agreement to acquire Light Wave, a San Diego maker of snowboards and wakeboards, would add $5 million to $8 million in revenue next year, Action said.
