The Costa Mesa City Council has voted to set aside three more surplus parcels for future Habitat for Humanity projects. Habitat for Humanity, a nonprofit organization that builds homes for low- and moderate-income residents, will be able to build on two parcels on Del Mar Avenue and another on Wallace Avenue. Properties on Raleigh and Sterling avenues were not set aside because an adjacent landowner is interested in buying the land.
