StarBase Corp.: The Irvine computer products company reported a net loss of $2.1 million, or 15 cents a share, for the third fiscal quarter, compared with a net loss of $1.3 million, or 10 cents a share, for the third quarter a year ago. The recent quarter included a $602,000 charge related to issuing convertible debentures during the previous quarter. Revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 rose 71% to $657,000 from $385,000. For the nine months, the company said it lost $5.2 million, or 39 cents a share, compared with a net loss of $3.8 million, or 32 cents a share, for the first three quarters of the prior fiscal year. Revenue advanced 78% to $1.4 million from $766,000.
