Men Are From mars, Women Are From Truffles

* Nearly one out of every two men gives boxed chocolates on Valentine’s Day, while only 25% of women buy boxed chocolates on this holiday. However, women are twice as likely as men to give boxed chocolates for Christmas.

* 5% of Americans believe giving boxed chocolates improves their chances of getting sex, and men are twice as likely as women to believe that sex will result from giving chocolate.

* Nut centers are twice as popular among women as among men.

* Men prefer coconut centers 2 to 1 over women.

* Nearly twice as many Americans (47%) will finish a chocolate they don’t like as will throw it away ((26%).

* More than a quarter of us hide boxed chocolates from other household members.
