Sinatra in Hospital for Tests

Frank Sinatra, whose health has been in question is recent years, was hospitalized Tuesday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for a series of tests.
The 82-year-old singer was taken to the Los Angeles hospital by ambulance, without lights and siren, about 9 a.m., accompanied by his wife, Barbara.
“He arrived in a nonemergency status,” said Cedars-Sinai spokeswoman Charlie Lahaie.
Sinatra had a heart attack a year ago, but Lahaie declined to confirm whether the singer would remain hospitalized overnight or if his visit was related to his heart condition.
“He’s having some tests done,” she said, without elaborating. “And until we get the results on those, we won’t be able to discuss the length or nature of his stay.”
Officials said Sinatra was resting Tuesday afternoon.
