SANTA ANA — A First American Financial Corp. unit said Wednesday it has acquired St. Thomas-based insurance company Service Standard Title & Trust Ltd. Terms weren’t disclosed.
First American Financial said the acquisition will allow it to expand into English-speaking jurisdictions in the Caribbean and the Virgin Islands.
First American Financial provides real estate-related financial and informational services.
