Authors to Discuss Book on City History

Authors of a new history of Simi Valley will appear Saturday and again Jan. 24 to discuss their work and answer questions. They will also sign copies of the book, “Simi Valley: A Journey Through Time.”
The event will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. both days at the Simi Valley Historical Society and Museum at Strathearn Park, 137 Strathearn Place.
Authors Pat Havens, Bill Appleton, Michael Kuhn, Ken Garges, Rick Johnson and John McCarthy will appear.
The historical park’s buildings will also be open for tours. Books will be available for purchase, although no hardcover editions are available. For information, call 526-6453.
