Body Found Near Reservoir Is Identified as La Mirada Man

A man whose body was found in the Angeles National Forest north of Azusa was a La Mirada resident who had apparently been shot, authorities said Friday
The body of Jaime Jean Castillo, 20, was found by Caltrans employees beside California 39 about 7:30 a.m. Thursday, said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Benita Nichol.
Castillo’s body was discovered near the San Gabriel Reservoir at a place called Browns Gulch, authorities said.
An autopsy is pending.
