Rep. Sanchez to Visit Westside Substation
- Share via
Westside residents will be welcoming Rep. Loretta Sanchez (D-Garden Grove) today to the police substation they fought to keep open.
Neighborhood activist David Lopez said he hopes the visit will reinforce support for the west-end substation, which had been set to close as part of a city plan to centralize police operations in its new downtown headquarters.
Lopez said Sanchez will be at the substation from 10 to 11 a.m. and will present a certificate.
The substation is at 724 S. Harbor Blvd., with the building entrance off McFadden Avenue.
