When It Comes to Trades Ducks Talk a Good Game
- Share via
Helene Elliott’s recent assessment of the Mighty Ducks’ agenda was right on. Jack Ferreira’s lethargic attitude in trying to get skilled players to help them get into the playoffs shows that Michael Eisner has no intention of spending money to make them a playoff-caliber team. If they are content to stay nothing more than a profitably mediocre team, then I assure you they will eventually be seeing more empty seats at the Pond.
Also, it’s now apparent that Ferreira played the good-old-boy’s game in bringing in his buddy Pierre Page. At this point of the season I can safely say that Pierre is not as adept as Wilson in motivating the players. Someone should poke him and try to wake him up. He always stands behind the bench looking like he just saw Elvis eating a cheeseburger in one of the luxury suites.
