La Canada to Induct Four Athletes in Hall of Fame

Four former La Canada High athletes will be inducted in the school’s athletic Hall of Fame during a ceremony at halftime of the Spartans’ boys’ basketball home game against South Pasadena on Jan. 30.
Slated for induction are Craig Hobson, a 1965 graduate and former football standoutand Eric Jacobsen, a 1988 graduate who excelled as a three-year varsity player at defensive back, running back and kick returner.
The others are Stacy Dickins, a 1989 graduate and an All-Rio Hondo League softball player who later played at Ohio State and Yolanda Davidian, a 1990 graduate who was a basketball and volleyball standout.
The school’s Hall of Fame was established in 1989.
Members, selected annually, are chosen by a committee of coaches and administrators.
