RUNNING BACK DORSEY LEVENS
Q: How does it feel to lose this game?
A: “This is something I’m not used to. I’ve never lost a Super Bowl before. Maybe, once the smoke clears, I’ll sit down and think about what kind of year I had. But right now, it hurts.”
DEFENSIVE LINEMAN REGGIE WHITE
Q: How does it feel to lose this game?
A: “With all the work you put in, it’s heartbreaking.”
QUARTERBACK BRETT FAVRE
Q: Since you failed to reach John Elway on the field to offer your congratulations, is there anything you’d like to say to him through the media?
A: “Hopefully, he’ll watch this press conference and know that I wish him well. He won the most important thing the NFL has to offer.”
Q: Did you lose to the better team?
A: “It’s over. I’ll wake up tomorrow and realize we had a good team.”
OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR SHERM LEWIS
Q: Did the weeklong speculation about your chances of becoming the next Dallas Cowboy coach become a distraction to you?
A: “This game is too big. I had no problem keeping my focus. Now I’m interested in talking to him [Dallas owner Jerry Jones] and he said he is interested in talking to me. Hopefully, that happens.”
