250 Students Earn ESL Certificates

Coastline Community College recently awarded 250 students certificates of completion in the English-as-a-second-language program at the college’s Huntington-Westminster Center in Huntington Beach.
The ceremony recognized those who completed classes in reading, writing, conversation and listening. Awards were given to students with the best attendance records and those recognized by their instructors for outstanding work.
Coastline’s ESL institute offers courses that emphasize language skills needed for employment and moving on to academic and vocational programs.
