Nominations Sought for Posthumous Honor

City officials are seeking nominations for a posthumous award as they prepare for the 15th annual Memorial Grove ceremony, set for Sept. 12.
A memorial plaque will be unveiled and a tree planted at the park to honor a Buena Park resident who made a significant contribution of time, service or both to the community, and who has been deceased for at least three years.
Nomination forms are available at the Recreation Department, 8150 Knott Ave., and must be returned by 5 p.m. Aug. 6.
