Actor on ‘Baywatch’ Assaulted at Nightclub

An actor from the television program “Baywatch” was assaulted outside a nightclub early Friday, police said.
Jeremy Jackson, 17, who plays “Hobie” on the show, was attacked by three men outside the the Green Girl on Beach Boulevard around 12:30 a.m, police Lt. Bob Burnett said. Jackson was not robbed and police did not know why the men assaulted the actor, Burnett said.
“The injuries were minor, but enough to bother [Jackson],” Burnett said.
The state’s Alcohol Beverage Control Board will investigate the 21-and-over nightclub because Jackson, who is a minor, was inside, he said.
The club could be fined or have its alcohol license suspended.
