School Board Candidate Sought to Fill Vacancy

The Centinela Valley Union High School District is seeking a new school board member to replace Michael Escalante, who died last month after an extended illness.
Those interested in the position can pick up an application from the district office at 14901 S. Inglewood Ave. Applications are due by 4 p.m. June 5 and candidates will be interviewed by the board June 11. A new board member will be selected soon afterward.
