15 Jurors Picked to Hear Woodham Trial

A circuit judge has selected 15 jurors, including three alternates, for the trial of Luke Woodham, the 17-year-old accused of killing two classmates in a shooting at his high school in Pearl. Authorities say Woodham walked into a crowded commons area at the school Oct. 1, and began firing with a rifle. His former girlfriend and a friend of hers were killed; seven others were wounded. His lawyers say Woodham is mentally ill. Woodham was sentenced to life in prison last week for killing his mother hours before the school attack.
