Clouds May Give Way to Sun This Weekend

Worry not, Ventura County sun worshipers: June gloom may be coming to a temporary end this weekend.
National Weather Service meteorologist Bruce Rockwell said Friday that the dreary, cloudy weather that has been casting a shadow over the county this week should clear up somewhat by today.
“It will still be cloudy in the morning, but it should be sunny during the afternoon,” Rockwell said. “This weather has to come to an end sometime, and it looks like that sometime is now. It looks like highs in the 70s in Ventura County.”
The National Weather Service is predicting highs of 73 for today and 75 Sunday. Winds will die down, and surf should remain relatively calm, with swell between 2 to 4 feet today and 3 to 5 feet Sunday.
