Wilson Names 5 Judges to Municipal Courts

Gov. Pete Wilson has announced the appointments of five new Municipal Court judges to districts in Los Angeles County.
Patrick T. Madden, 53, of Long Beach, was appointed to the Long Beach judicial district, replacing Gary Ferrari. Ferrari was elevated to the Superior Court.
Cynthia L. Ulfig, 42, of Santa Clarita, was appointed to the Newhall judicial district, replacing H. Keith Byram, who has retired.
Laura C. Ellison, 35, who has worked as a deputy district attorney for the last decade, will move from the Los Angeles district attorney’s office to the South Bay judicial district.
Eric C. Taylor, 36, of Los Angeles, was appointed to the Inglewood judicial district, replacing Wardell Moss, who has retired.
George Gonzalez-Lomeli was appointed to the East Los Angeles judicial district, replacing Ruth Kwan, who was elevated to the Superior Court.
