Ventura College Women’s Basketball

This is a letter to commend Ned Mircetic, his coaching staff and the Ventura College women’s basketball team for their outstanding accomplishment of reaching the state tournament championship game for the third year in a row.
Although they came out of the that game on the short end, they have absolutely no reason to hang their heads.
This year’s team was the epitome of the “We Play Hard” motto and made every game truly exciting for us fans to watch.
I’d like to salute this talented group of individuals and thank each one of them for providing their fans with countless hours of action-packed entertainment.
Despite the outcome of the title game, in my heart and in the hearts of many others, I’m sure, Ventura College Lady Pirates--you are all champions!
