AlliedSignal Inc. of Morristown, N.J., agreed to buy Hermetic Aircraft International Corp. from GKN for $13 million, and pay $19.7 million to boost its ownership in GKN’s Normalair-Garrett Ltd. unit in England to a controlling interest. The Normalair-Garrett unit will become part of AlliedSignal’s Aerospace Equipment Systems business in Torrance.
