Chapman Student Earns Dean’s Award

Kathryn Lamb of Irvine has been named the outstanding senior in the Chapman University School of Business and Economics.
The 22-year-old accounting major received the Dean’s Award and Betty Hutton Williams Medal in front of about 800 guests at Chapman’s recent 1998 Economic Forum.
The award is the highest academic honor given to a Chapman business or economics student. The medal memorializes the late Betty Hutton Williams, once one of Orange County’s leading philanthropists.
Lamb will begin work in September as a staff accountant in the audit department of Deloitte & Touche’s Costa Mesa office.
