1st in Series of Budget Workshops Scheduled

The Hermosa Beach City Council is scheduled to hold the first in a series of budget workshops June 1. The public is invited to attend and comment on the budget.
The proposed budget for 1998-99 estimates expenditures at $24.9 million, a 3% increase over the 1997-98 budget. The budget is available for review at City Hall. The City Council must adopt the budget by July 1, the beginning of the fiscal year.
The workshop is scheduled for 7 p.m. at City Hall at 1315 Valley Drive.
