Chopra Holds Session for NBC Executives

Spiritual guru Deepak Chopra ran a two-hour seminar for NBC programming executives in California earlier this month, the network acknowledged this week.
The New Age author-lecturer counseled them on how to live up to their potential and recognize opportunities, according to an executive who attended and spoke to Associated Press on condition of anonymity.
Chopra, whose best-selling books include “Seven Spiritual Laws of Success” and “Ageless Body, Timeless Mind,” talked about the importance of television as a medium and told them to be mindful of its influence, the executive said.
The seminar was arranged by a friend of Chopra, Jerome Conlon, who is an executive in NBC’s marketing department, NBC spokeswoman Pat Schultz said.
Attendance was voluntary, she said.
