A new Web site from J.P. Morgan & Co., https://www.adr.com, provides detailed information on more than 400 foreign companies that offer American depositary receipts. ADRs are shares of foreign-based companies that trade in the U.S. stock market. Users can search for earnings estimates, analyst recommendations, price histories and other data, or screen for investment prospects by region or industry. Updates show the day’s top ADRs by trading volume as well as the biggest gainers and losers. The site also offers information on ADR direct-purchase plans that J.P. Morgan administrates for more than 60 of the companies.
