Bob Visotcky, vice president and general manager of radio station KMCG-FM (100.3), announced Tuesday he is leaving the station to become Chancellor Media’s regional manager in Denver. He will be replaced by Marko Radlovich, KMCG’s general sales manager. Both moves take effect immediately.
Visotcky came to Los Angeles from San Francisco last summer when Dallas-based Chancellor Media Corp. purchased KMCG, better known as Mega 100. Under his guidance, the station and its unique urban-oldies music format has gone from 23rd to 11th place in the local Arbitron ratings in less than a year.
In Denver, Visotcky will oversee five FM music stations and an AM talk station. Chancellor Media’s subsidiary, Chancellor Radio Group, is the nation’s largest broadcast entity with more than 465 stations in 105 markets.
