Hit-Run Suspect Arrested After Chase, Second Crash

WEST COVINA — A 20-year-old man was arrested Tuesday by police who chased him after a hit-and-run accident in El Monte, a second car crash in West Covina and then a foot chase after the man fled his car.
Rudy Anthony Gonzalez of El Monte was arrested on suspicion that he was driving the vehicle involved in the 2:20 p.m. crash in El Monte. No one was hurt in the accident, but authorities say the suspect left the scene.
