The Recreation and Park District has opened registration for its youth basketball program. The league is open to youths ages 7 to 14 and begins practice the week of Dec. 7. The league fee is $55 and must be accompanied by proof of age. Registration is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays at the Cypress Community Center, 5700 Orange Ave. The deadline is Nov. 20.
