Newt Gingrich

When Newt Gingrich admitted that he had let the GOP and the Republican voters down (Nov. 7), he didn’t go on TV, shake his finger in our faces and lie to us. He did the honorable thing and promptly resigned. He realized that the party and the country could best be served by others, by new leadership. To put this all behind us and move on with solving the country’s problems, he stepped aside. And the Democrats are already wailing about not having Gingrich to kick around anymore! Congratulations, Newt, you’re a man of character to be respected.
