Victory Baptist Church of Anaheim offers schedules of services, descriptions of church philosophy and even a catalog of “spiritual gifts” on the World Wide Web.

The site, at https://www.vb.org/, cites Isaiah 40:31 on its home page, topped by an image of an eagle: “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

Victory’s statement of philosophy stresses a belief in the literal word of God and the autonomy of the local church.

Its Web site, still under construction, offers information about the church’s ministries and a list of missionaries in places around the globe.

It offers a description of “spiritual gifts”--characteristics that make people worthy of such titles as “The Evangelist,” “The Prophet” and others. The Web site also offers a “spiritual gift test” for visitors.
